Wale Opejin is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, where heearned a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management in 1987, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution. These academic foundations equipped him with analytical depth, strategic thinking, and managerial competence.
His professional refinement extended beyond Nigeria’s shores through advanced training at the Long and Foster Institute of Real Estate, Ekridge, Maryland, USA, exposing him to international best practices in development, governance, and sustainable growth.

He served at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and later at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, acquiring deep institutional knowledge of public infrastructure, policy execution, and federal operations.
Driven by vision and innovation, he went on to establish Leadmac Property and Development Company Limited and the professional firm Wale Opejin & Co., creating value, generating employment, and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s real estate ecosystem.
