DSS attached to Ilaji Farm CEO ENGR Dotun Sanusi killed A Baouncer at an events at Ilaji Hall
Mr Soji , a member of the Oyo State Bodybuilders and Bouncers association was shot dead by a DSS Officer attached to the CEO of Ilaji Farms at an event duty on Saturday 29th of June 2024.
Information gathered from an eyewitness mentioned that there was an instruction prohibiting the entry and use of firearms and other weapons into the event hall where the bouncer (Mr Soji) was safeguarding.
Mr Soji who relayed the instruction to the DSS Officer who was carrying a firearm with the intention to enter into the event hall, which was against the rule given to the security personnels at the hall, but the DSS Officer refused to listen to the instruction.
The situation got out of hands when the DSS Officer cocked his gun and walked towards the bouncer (Mr Soji) which caused people around to run for their lives. In the process to run for his life, Mr Soji was stopped by the barricade and fell on the ground, the DSS Officer took that as an opportunity, move closed to him and shot him at close range. Mr Soji (the bouncer) was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced (Dead On Arrival).
The DSS Officer also shot himself on the leg to fabricate the story, when it was dawn upon him that he had killed the bouncer (Mr Soji). All thanks to the CEO/Owner of Ilaji Farms who made sure that the DSS Officer was apprehended an arrested.
The Commissioner of Police is aware of the issue and he has vowed that justice will be served for the deceased.
The remains of Mr Soji has since been taken to Ona Ara Hospital.
